We completed the 4th Annual Mike Clark Memorial June 23, 2011. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for their generous support, volunteers, family, and the Glen Afton Golf course for their support and assistance. For without them, this event would not have been possible.
Your contribution helped make it possible for us to raise in excess of $5,200 this year.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Q.E.H. Foundation ($1,600) with the remainder
given to Ryan Mullally and Allana Rydberg, parents of Dakota Mullally.
These funds will be used to assist the family with such things as travel and lodging while travelling off island with Dakota. They have journeyed to the IWK on numerous occasions and given Dakota's medical condition, I expect there will be many more trips to come.
In addition to these expenses Dakota will no doubt require other items relevant to his unique situation, such as a wheel chair in the coming years.
Once again, we thank you for your generous support…
Sincerely,
Family and Friends of Mike Clark

Mike resided in Charlottetown with his wife and three young girls, aged 10, 7 and 5 weeks, when he passed away on Sept. 13, 2007 of a massive heart attack.
This tournament was organized by his family and friends as a way to pay tribute to him, and to raise awareness of heart disease.
Age is not a factor. Mike was only 36 years old when he passed away.
Please take a moment and read the Heart attack warning signals. |
