In Aid of:
Dakota Mullally
Dakota was born with very complicated undeveloped brain issues and epilepsy, he is missing his Corpus Callosum which is the nerve endings that connect both sides of his brain. Parts of his brain are smaller then they should be, his spinal cord is half the size it should be, and he has very little sight, at this point the doctors only know he can see some light. He is one year old and has developed to about a 5 month old. The doctors believe he may never walk, or wont develop much more than he already has.
He has to make frequent visits to the IWK in Halifax to see specialist. His automatic part of the brain, which controls breathing and temp regulation, is also undeveloped, he's already has gone hypothermic (33C) and regularly has to be monitored."
